The first Dinky toy cars were produced and marketed in 1933. The production of Dinky toy vehicles were produced in both France and Great Britain. World War II brought the production to a stop for many years. But before the war Dinky toys had produced many models such as trucks, cars, military vehicles, buses, aircraft, ships and many accessories. Probably the most popular pre war models were the 38 series sports cars and the 39 series of American cars.
